There are up to 14 characters, I think, that you can play with - each I believe is represented in the tv show so you are in a sense playing with 'real' characters you may already know and love. Oh boy does there seem to be a lot of good stuff! There's a class system that allows you to multi-class your characters when you level up their jobs to a certain point. Not to say it's incomprehensible - I'm definitely following along it's just *dense*. I know this could be easily fixed by watching the Netflix show (which I hear is excellent), but I just haven't yet and I didn't expect it to hinder my initial understanding of the plot. You choose a character's combat action with a wheel menu a la Secret of Mana, which I like. The user-friendly interface has some annoying cumbersome quirks. I must say I enjoy it more than not, but it could be simply because of my bias towards SRPGs and tactical games.
